The world of Amoi was originally to be an idyllic haven free of the scourge of human government. The needs of its people would be attended to by an Artificial Intelligence known as Jupiter. In time, the Super Computer had an inintended side effect; it gained sentience. In the time thereafter, the computer began to control all aspects of human life, including the reproduction of the very citizens it was originally intended to nurture. Naturally, the humans would make attempts to try and retake control. To curtail this, the very few females were bred, and the in the resultant male dominated society, gangs ran rampant and sexual slavery fast became a way of life. Thus was born the practice of owning a pet. Riki who was the product of an unsanctioned breeding, finds himself as the pet of Iason Mink, a member of the ruling class in Tanagura. In this episode, Riki infiltrates the borders of Tanagura with the intent of stealing a car, and is caught at this by a gang of residents. Before they can kill him, however, Iason Mink happens by and saves him. The high price of this rescue is that Riki is taken on as a pet. Iason, who is sterile and forbidden from even egaging in sexual relations, does the unthinkable, and falls in love with his slave (or "pet," as they are euphemistically referred to in this series). Although most of his peers typically keep a pet for a brief amount of time, Iason keeps Riki for three whole years. After which, he grants Riki a year free of servitude, after which he must return to Iason. Will Riki do this? I did not create this film, but found it amongst my wife's collection and thought some of you may wish to enjoy this series as well. This anime is based on a novel of a same name by Rieko Yoshihara. Thanks to whomever subbed this work, and I'm sure the many viewers who will enjoy this work will appreciate the subtitles as well.
